Ah, another spurt

So it's been quite sometime since I posted on the blogosphere.

What I'll do quickly here is post a summary of events (that i remember) that happened in the past few days, weeks & months.

reverse-chronologically :

1. saw ks oils rise a little - to 5+ levels, having amassed them for averaging it's nice to see them jump back - although it's a long way to go before i make any profit.
2. got stuck in a  jam - culprit, a little bit of rain
3. baked a fig & almond cake - loved it
4. saw ice age 3D - as always with animations (the ones that I've seen), it was nice
5. went for baking and liquor shopping - bombay sapphire, hoegaarden - the wheat beer; figs, black currant & raisins
6. It was Eid yesterday and surprisingly it was a holiday (hence the list above). On a monday :)
7. went for a bicycle ride - 15 kms - and it tired me a lot - stamina's down (and why not). Btw, awesome detailing out there from the app - impressive (i'm seeing it for the first time myself)
8. had fb video chat with raka - the experience has been made so seamless - amazing.
9. had grilled fish for dinner on sunday - meh
10. baked the first cake - it was an out and out success, bread, however, a complete failure
11. Grilled chicken was had - yeah the rotisserie one - it turned out quite well.
12. The oven arrives on a saturday - with next 3 days off. Ah, the chicken has to be ordered asap

 ok - now the week ones, nothing much happened that I can recall

1. got asics gel blur 33 - and it's been sitting there with just 1 break-in-run done till date.
2. Started keeping the moustaches again
3. watched gow 2 with neomatrixite & tarunsingh09
4. watched #GoW 1&2 at osian film fest - it was a terrific experience - must do more
5. got a new watch casio illuminator?
6. jatin opened his restaurant - haven't been there till date - must go soon.
7. tyagiG moved on to bangalore - wise move
8. raka moved to jaipur
9. sekhon went to US - has been out of touch, well so have I
10. got the hand out of fracture after some 6 weeks 
11. went to lko with the hand fractured
12. fractured my hand - while playing frisbee - a dangerous sport I tell ye

ok, now for the big ones

1. atul got married - it was a 3-4 eventful days
2. went goa for atul's
3. jasmine got married - went for the wedding
4. sandy got married - went meerut with raka, tarun, atul (way back), shivani, tyagiG & daman
5. new year was bland - sekhon, sandy on sohna road
6. had done a road trip to haldwani, dwarahat with raka - it was awesome. memory will remain.

Well, i guess that's it for now.

Been some time

So what else happened since I last wrote...a lot.

- met deepu.
- Titu got married, couldn't go.
- Decided to not to participate in the marathon. Bad.
- Marathon happened. Lobo did quite well. Impressive.
- Raka is here. &nbsp.
- played tennis with geezer.
- shaved moustaches.
- Got papa's tickets for haldwani.
- went on mini-rampage on playgroundonline.
- got a gamla big enough for the plant.
- filled kindle with a lot of stuff.
- watched the market tank, along with the few, hard investments. damn.
- heard today, I joke you not, 60k shaadis in NCR.

Saturday night

Had Biryani for lunch. Wasn't fascinated. Nothing much in the day today. Going for a jog, a few rounds in the society after a dropped plan of tau-devilal. Dinner's at buddy's. Raka was to come but the procrastinator has not yet reached.

Rockstar

Office had taken the whole gurgaon office guys for this movie yesterday. Show was at 4. First half of the movie was funny, watchable. Second screwed it up, the ending completely baffled me. Baffling was the realization that it was the end!

Nothing much after that. Came home, went for a 4 round jog. Came back, talked to papa about the farm thing. Atul came, then Jatin came in some time. Usual day.

Woke up slightly late today at about 8:30. Raka called, he may be coming soon. Anuj had made some nice upma and peanut chutney. Took lobo's car for office as both were sleeping by the time I took a bath. At office now where nothing much is being accomplished by me, no dent in the universe from my end...

Just another day

Was yesterday. Wohi usual, office, meeting, come home. Do the do. Got the jacket from playgroundonline. The other two guys went to striker. Had talked to Sohi in the evening. Called buddy, long chat.
Atul came over, saw some program on CNN IBN, talk about the dirty picture- the movie. Man, ekta kapoor is hot, still.
Right now heading to office in lobo's car. Mine is with Deepu for a few days.

Loc 99/Lucknow mail & root 69

Had gone there day before with tyagiG, lobo. Sekhon & Samarth joined in after a while. Had gone with the hope that since the name is changed to something more palatable, the food would've improved. Snacks assured that it was so; the food was, however, as bad as food can be. Can't really think of worse that I have had.
Not going there again, nevermind the name changes.

Root 69:
Yesterday, we (Arush & me) got off office to go to this mela - Apollo circus- which was in town, gurgaon. Reaching there we realised it had been pulled off. What to do now?
Contemplated over root 69 or Tibetan cafe, which are adjacent to each other. Finalised on root 69. Jatin joined in a while. Had nice appetiser there, delicious, thanks to Arush's insisting on root 69, just for that particular thing. Nothing much post that, came back home, picked water bottles on the way back as the water was over at home. Read for a while, slept shortly after, don't remember what happened after that.

Anoj is here today, he just went home and then called that it is locked. Back after 45 days of leave, this should bring the house in some order
